how long have you been racing for

Both FE(twins) and ICE(singles) are rolling start in the USSK. Some superkarts race in the Unlimited enduro class with the WKA and have a standing start.

ah k fair enough
so the 250cc international class is standing still? or are they moving that to rolling?
250Superkart (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
We're making about 65hp, the twins are close to 100hp.

There are two classes, singles and twins...we line up according to qualifying time so the twins go screaming by on the start and are pretty tough to pass.

Rolling starts are safer for this type of kart, standing starts are incredibly hard on the clutches as well. Good for equipment, consistent starts and looks / sounds awesome when 30 of them go screaming by nose to tail.

We use a slipper clutch...some are direct drive and have to manage RPM with downshift.
