So, you think you want to learn a new hobby and it’s going to be fishing. There are a few ways of learning, the hardest way being trial and error, however, the best way is to find an instructor for one-to-one instruction.

1. Get some seasickness tablets: If you’re going to be fishing from on the water, nothing is worse than having your fishing ruined by a bout of seasickness. Most seasickness medication is very good (e.g. Bonine). Even seasoned fishermen take some on rough-weather days. Take one tablet before you go to sleep, another when you wake up and a third before you go on board.

There are not many places in the world that haven’t been colonised by snakes and other reptiles. Snakes are even to be found in towns, although it is only the friendlier ones that tend to survive human wrath. However, if you want to look for some of the more uncommon snakes, you could look in parks and fields, on beaches or in rivers and ponds and even in the sea, depending on where you live, of course as sea snakes tend to inhabit warmer, tropical waters.
