Oklahoma State (10-1) scored the first 13 points and never was challenged by Central Arkansas (2-9), a team that suited up only eight players.

Iziane Castro Marques scored 19 points and Lauren Jackson had 18 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Seattle Storm to an 82-47 rout of the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday. The 47 points were a record low for Los Angeles, which also went down to a franchise-record sixth consecutive defeat. The Sparks shot a season-worst 29.9 percent.
Former Kentucky women’s basketball coach Mickie DeMoss was hired Tuesday as an assistant at Texas. DeMoss had quit abruptly in April, saying she wanted to take a break from the game after 30 years. Her hiring completes coach Gail Goestenkors’ staff.
