I have been a NASCAR and many other racing series for 25 years and there is alot more money in F1,before Micheal Shumacher retired he was the highest paid athlete,he was even worth more than Tiger Woods. And Formula 1 racing is huge everywhere else outside the United States, alot of the reason why drivers like Jaun Montoya left is he was not very popular with sponsors and fans,he was very aggressive and tore up alot of equipment kinda like he is today.Trust me F1 equipment cost alot more, think about it Ferrari vs. Ford most average Americans are not driving Ferrari’s.My heart is with Nascar so do not think this is sticking up for F1,just trying to clear up some questions asked about this subject. One more thing Hendrick Motorsports might take the Championship the next 5-10 years in a row with Jr. aboard. Thanks

Many a physical object is purchased not only as an ornament for the home or work area or for a simple article of clothing. This is true as well for the NASCAR merchandise that many of us have collected in the past. How so?

Thanks to Rustyfan for this great capture. In 1960 Daytona Superspeedway hosted this sportsman race. 68 cars entered into the race, back then there were a maximum of 68 cars in a superspeedway race. Coming out of turn four 37 cars get into a massive wreck where at least six cars get on their roofs. Amazingly, evryone walked away from this.
